Instant Stability is the Quick Mill technology designed to keep the brew group temperature exactly where it needs to be: quickly, steadily and with easy adjustment.
At the core of the system is an active heating element built directly into the group and managed by a dedicated PID. Temperature is constantly monitored and corrected in real time, compensating for changes during both warm-up and extraction. The result is a brew group that always stays within its ideal working range.

Why Instant Stability matters
Fast, controlled heat-up
Thanks to active group control, the machine reaches its ideal extraction temperature much faster, reducing waiting times without compromising stability.
Starting from room temperature, after 12 minutes:
- with Instant Stability → 87.6 °C
- without active heating → 62.3 °C
That’s a difference of +25.3 °C, equal to a 40.6% increase.
Stable shot after shot
Instant Stability ensures temperature consistency in two key moments:
- between shots, even with short intervals;
- throughout each extraction, from the first seconds to the 30-second mark.
This keeps the group within a steady thermal window, reducing fluctuations that can impact cup quality.
Tested and proven
Thermal stability has been verified through internal Quick Mill testing: 10 consecutive shots with a 1-minute interval.
The key parameter measured is ΔT, the difference in group temperature between 30 and 15 seconds of extraction.
The results:
- with Instant Stability → average ΔT of 0.29 °C
- without active heating → noticeably higher fluctuations
- Instant Stability reduces thermal variations by 41%
